Stoop Storytelling

I was recently asked to shoot this amazing event called Stoop Storytelling. People gather at Centerstage once every few months, and seven people get up and share a seven minute story with everyone based around a theme. This time it was the “Extreme Holiday Show.”  These are everyday folks, and the stories they share are from their lives, telling tales that they have lived. The audience is so engaged, and supportive with applause, full on laughter, and sometimes the sympathetic gasps, or “oooooh”. The first storyteller pictured was recalling her obsession and fascination as a Jewish child with the decked out Christmas Tree. The second storyteller told a hilarious tale about working as a Reindeer at Hutzler’s – an old Baltimore department store. We also enjoyed awesome music from Caleb Stine and the Brakemen , Ellen Cherry, and Arty Hill. A big thank you to Jessica and Laura for inviting me to be a part of this wonderful experience!
